Process can be complex
where mistakes can get lost in the complexity.
HIGHRES DOCS seeks to identify the issues that can reduce RFI’s and Change Orders so these issues can be resolved during Design before they cause delays and additional cost in the Construction Phase.
Review Process
HIGHRES DOCS uses the state-of-the-art software Bluebeam as the primary review communication tool and will deliver reports with annotated drawings identifying concerns in a consistent, convenient and organized format. Report output is in PDF format with links to a summary table.
HIGHRES DOCS will receive your drawing sets in PDF format for all disciplines to be reviewed. Comments will be marked on these PDF drawings, which will then be returned with the summary report. The summary report will also contain a narrative addressing areas of particular concern to help expedite critical elements of focus and expedite response time.
Review comments can typically include:
Code Compliance
Identifying missing information or dimensions
Issues related to Constructibility
Gaps in continuity of Thermal Envelope
Fire Resistant Assemblies
Prevention of Water Intrusion
Inadequate Sound Attenuation.
Accessibility Review can be added as a supplemental review component.
What is covered in each phase of review:
SCHEMATIC DESIGN PHASE (SD):
General Code Compliance
General Accessibility Overview
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT PHASE (DD):
CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENT PHASE [CD]:
Reviews will be performed as expeditiously as professionally practical to work with your schedule. We are available by phone or videoconference to review the comment report with you if desired.
